Job Title: Director of Finance
Location: Corporate (Miami, FL or as applicable)
Reports To: CFO
Position Summary:
The Director of Finance will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the Company’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning functions. This position will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support executive leadership with data-driven insights. The role requires deep technical accounting expertise, public company reporting experience, and the ability to manage complex, multi-entity financial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quarterly and annual financial reporting, including SEC filings and disclosures
- Oversee technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulations
- Support earnings call preparation, including script development in coordination with executive leadership and external partners
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
- Review and approve journal entries, including oversight of accounting close activities
- Oversee bank account administration, including access controls, maintenance, and payment approvals
- Ensure compliance with debt agreements, including senior notes reporting and covenant monitoring
- Supervise intercompany transactions and ensure proper reconciliation and reporting
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice approvals and payment workflows
- Manage commission calculations, including DIGIDEA and other incentive programs
- Provide oversight of digital accounting operations and controller-level responsibilities
- Review OTC verifications and annual reporting requirements
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Respond to ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from senior leadership
Operational Oversight Includes:
- SOIBDA forecasting support (in coordination with FP&A leadership)
- Houston progression reporting
- Intercompany covenant tracking and compliance
- SAP or ERP system-related financial processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including public company exposure
- Strong knowledge of SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations and international operations preferred
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
