Position Summary
Promotions Driver / Assistant
The Promotions Driver / Assistant’s primary responsibility is driving and transportation support for station promotions, events, and trade shows using the station fleet vehicle. In addition, this role provides general promotional and event assistance as needed, including setup, breakdown, and logistical support. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of promotional assets while supporting successful event execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as the primary driver for promotional vehicles, equipment, and materials to and from events, trade shows, appearances, and station-related activities.

Assist with event and trade show setup, breakdown, and on-site support, as needed.

Load, unload, transport, and properly secure promotional equipment, signage, and displays.

Maintain the assigned station vehicle in a clean and presentable condition, including interior and exterior cleanliness.

Ensure the vehicle is adequately fueled prior to scheduled assignments; fuel costs are covered by the company in accordance with company policy.

Maintain awareness of vehicle condition and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Support promotions staff during events, including general assistance and logistics.

Assist with inventory tracking of promotional materials and displays.

Maintain clear, timely communication with promotions staff and management regarding schedules, routes, and event needs.
- Ensure all activations and events are successful from beginning to end.
- Drive station vehicles to and from activations
- Responsible for promotional inventory, such as banners & equipment
- Manage our event promotions, and strategy in conjunction with management.
- Create social media content as needed
- Create event recaps
- Contact winners and ensure a timely prize delivery
- Other office duties as needed such as reception coverage

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be at least 25 years of age to meet company automobile insurance requirements.

Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), as required by company auto insurance policies.

Ability to maintain a clean MVR throughout employment; continued eligibility to drive company vehicles is a condition of the role.

Customer-oriented approach with a professional and courteous demeanor.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills; dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Ability to adapt to changing schedules and event requirements with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Availability to work evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends, as required.

Prior experience supporting events, promotions, or logistics is a plus but not required.
Background and Driving Record Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Periodic Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks may be conducted to ensure continued compliance with company and insurance requirements.

Failure to maintain a satisfactory driving record may result in reassignment of duties or disqualification from the role.
Physical Requirements
Work involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or a negligible amount of force frequently, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
